Tight turns to perfection

What does it mean „a perfect tight turn“ to me? It means a perfectly performed tight turn which is gentle to the dog’s body, a tight turn which the dog loves to offer and which the dog also understands well when I want them to turn tight. A perfectly performed tight turn means to me that the dog turns their head, lands on both front legs and the hind legs are absorbing a part of the leading energy and transform it into the next stride which is thanks to it very powerful. In this class I will guide you step by step to create the best possible tight turn movement for your dog. We focus on transferring a lot value to the tight turn as well so that the dog loves to perform it.

Of course, we need the dog to understand when to decide for a collection to perform a tight turn, when to collect less for a soft turn and when to extend their strides for a straight line as well. Even this is a topic of this class!

I will share all my „know how“ connected with tight turns in this new class with you!

You’ll learn how to build a tight turn your dog truly understands:
✔ head turn
✔ clean landing on both front legs
✔ hind legs absorbing energy
✔ powerful next stride
All while keeping the dog’s body safe and adding tons of value to the movement!

But that’s not all — your dog will also learn how to choose the right option:
• full collection for a tight turn
• light collection for a soft turn
• extension for straight lines
Clear criteria + smart decision making = stronger teamwork!
